We LOVE the fact that our space offers the professionalism people need when they’re meeting with clients or GO-Labers. We do have a few rules for guests as we want to ensure that their experience is just as positive as yours!
Remember, your membership includes the right for you to be here as well as any individuals you are holding meetings with in a scheduled conference room.
Due to the nature of the open GO-Labing environment, in general the GO-Labing space is not able to accommodate children.
However we understand that sometimes working parents may find themselves in a pinch and may, from time-to-time, find the need to bring their children to work with them. Most of us are parents too, so we understand. Please do your best to keep these instances to a minimum and observe the following practices:
- Children should be as respectful as you are regarding noise in the space and remain with you at your desk or in your office.
- Children should not occupy another workspace that would otherwise be available to a member.
- Just like for you, if your child is too sick to attend school, they are also too sick to be at the GO-Labing space.
- Conference rooms should not be booked to allow a child a place to hang out while at the space with a parent.
- Please ensure that you clean up after your child in the kitchen, restrooms and common areas.
- Student Memberships are available at a discounted rate, during business hours to children aged 13 and over. Parent contact information needs to be provided upon registration.
Please note that GO-Lab shares the building with the Golden Veterinary clinic. Although we like to welcome everyone, if you are allergic to pets please consider if joining the Go-Lab is right for you.
Even though all of us are big dog lovers, Go-Lab is a dog free zone. Sometimes there are expectations to this rule though 🙂 If you want to bring your furry friend in for a few moments, please make sure to check there are no members who are allergic or other pets that may cause a territorial conflict.
Yes and it’s FREE! We share the parking lot with the rest of the building. Our parking lot can be accessed from the alley between highway 95 and 9th Ave N. We are located between HWY 95, Kicking Horse Ford and IGA in the ‘old court house’.
